Narrated in English, with English subtitles for the short sections that are in Sinhalese. This packs a lot of history into an hour and 20 minutes!
This was one of the most understated yet effective commentaries on the ruptures of war that I have yet had the pleasure of seeing. Much to be commended in this film and should serve as a template for many others who wish to make insightful, aesthetically fluent films on a budget. After all, as I gather from a review elsewhere, the documentary was shot on video!
